One of the biggest boxing events of the year takes place Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas where Garcia, one of the sport's biggest names, puts his WBC welterweight title on the line against Benn. The fight headlines a huge event being promoted by rivals Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions and Zuffa Boxing led by Dana White, in partnership with The Ring.
Garcia (25-2, 20 KOs) and Benn (25-1, 14-KOs) both are coming off wins earlier this year. In February, Garcia claimed the WBC title when he defeated Mario Barrios by unanimous decision to get back in the win column. Then in April, Benn took a unanimous decision from Regis Prograis for his second win in a row, setting up the showdown with Garcia.
