The Corner Brook Open Art Studio is a community art center that welcomes everyone as an artist, regardless of age or ability. It is all about respect and inclusion, where you can explore your creativity in a relaxing, stress-free environment. Drop in and use the wide variety of materials offered here or you can bring your own supplies – the choice is yours! The open art studio is about building self-respect, empowerment and community, and not so much about technical know-how. Learn how to expand your creative potential by trying new art forms and materials, or do what you already know and love! This community arts space is partially sponsored by the Schizophrenia Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and CMHI. Sandra Hewitt-Parsons is the on-site art therapist and director of Safe Harbour Expressive Therapies.
Donations are always welcome
